The Yarmouth Police Department dedicated its 911 Memorial at its candlelight service honoring the victims of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 on Sunday, September 11, 2016. The Memorial’s centerpiece is an actual girder from the Word Trade Center gifted by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. It is accessible to children and others with a path connecting it to an adjacent middle and elementary school. The Memorial is set in a garden with both native and ornamental plants creating a beautiful sense of place and serves as a living classroom.
RELCO’s Cape Cod electricians worked with multiple volunteers and supporters to make sure the Memorial was ready for its dedication on the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
