National Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Arlington, Virginia, awarded RELCO the 2014 Silver Safety Step Award. Barbara Lagergren, Executive Director at the Gould Construction Institute, said “The Silver Level demonstrates the unilateral dedication and commitment to job site safety, practiced by your employees.”
Established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety Committee, the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed by contractors, for contractors. It provides benefits including objective methods to measure safety program improvements, to further develop a safety and loss prevention program as well as recognizing companies with stellar safety performances. RELCO has received ABC Safety Step awards for the past eleven years due to its strong commitment and dedication to job site safety.
