RELCO is seeking a journeyman electrician to join our Service Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and identify issues and disruptions
- Prepare and assemble conduits
- Support development of an apprentice when applicable
- Install various kinds of wires, cable and conduits in accordance with the requirements
- Connect conductors to switches, receptacles or appliances with proper methods of splicing, soldering and taping
- Maintain a safe work environment by observing and following all safety standards and procedures complying with OSHA and RELCO standards
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
Skills Requirements:
- Experience in commercial or residential electrical work
- Experience working in a service department preferred
Certification Requirements:
- OSHA 10 certificate, or willingness to complete through RELCO
- MA and/or RI Journeyman electrician license
- Valid driver’s license
- GED or high school diploma
