Last week, RELCO celebrated National Construction Safety Week!
Our foremen led the charge with the support of crew members to inspect tools and ladders on site to ensure safety. Any broken tools, ladders, or unsafe equipment was tagged and removed from service.
Each day had a theme and focus:
* Monday: Ladder Inspection Day
* Tuesday: Extension Cord / Cord Tool Inspection Day
* Wednesday: Mobile Elevator Work Platform Inspection Day
* Thursday: Job Site Evacuation Safety Day
* Friday: Toolbox Talk Day
It takes a village, and we’re grateful for our Corporate Safety Director, our Outside Supervisors, Foremen, and all crew members on site for taking extra time and focus last week to conduct inspections. These efforts are worthwhile, are important, and ensure the safety on our job sites and help make sure all RELCO associates get home safe to their families at the end of each work day.
At the Biddeford, ME Parking Garage project, RELCO sponsored a luncheon for all workers on site supporting PC Construction’s safety week efforts.
Thank you to all who participated in last week’s efforts and all continued efforts.
