On March 23, 2018, RELCO hosted its annual Safety Day event at F-1 in Braintree. This event focused on safety to reinforce RELCO’s efforts in establishing a culture of safety accountability, compliance and competence at RELCO. Safety is the number one priority, every day. Jim Reilly, President of RELCO, opened remarks with “Because at the end of the day nothing really matters if you don’t get home safely, every night! When it comes to safety and insuring that each of us get home to our families in the same shape that we left in the morning, we will not compromise.”
Ben Baptiste, Sr. EHS Manager from Lend Lease was the event speaker and spoke on the importance of developing and maintaining a culture of safety in every day construction practices. RELCO has been fortunate to be associated with Ben for nearly 10 years on many spectacular and difficult projects.
Nearly a dozen RELCO field members were recognized, for ‘Getting Caught’, working safely! 5-year and 10-year awards employee service awards were also presented. The Red Wing Boot truck was a hot-take as usual, and RELCO was delighted to pay ½ off the price.
